AFTER SCHOOL HOCKEY SESSIONS |
Hockey coaching/playing sessions begin
again at the Church Stretton
School on the tennis courts
and/or indoor gym
January 12th 2009 - cost is
only £1.50 per session.
The sessions run from 4-5.30pm
every Monday during school terms
and are open
to school years 3, 4, 5, 6, and
7.
Please wear good training shoes
(ordinary or astro trainers),
shinpads,
a gumshield if you have one,
and bring a drink too.
Parents please collect
children promptly at 5.30pm.

COACHING ON ASTROTURF |
|
Occasionally we supplement the tarmac/indoor
sessions with visits to a proper hockey
pitch at either Shrewsbury or
Leominster. The children find these
sessions good fun and value the
opportunity to play on a proper surface
and with real goals. These sessions take
the place of a 'normal' session and will
therefore still be on a scheduled
Monday. The 'astro'
sessions finish later at 5.30pm
PLUS the travel time - so back in
Stretton around 6pm.
These trips rely on sufficient
transport being offered by parents to
ferry children to-from the venue - a job
best shared over the school year.
